Carmi cracked some eggs for a cake she wanted to bake for Sunday lunch.
The second egg contained 2 yolks.
Twin chickens. That was our excitement for the day.

That’s odd if those are comercial eggs (like bought at Wal-mart or a chain grocery store) as they tend to screen those out.
We have a double yolk egg on occasion and it’s a big hit around here too, particularly because the egg is usually so very large! I had one for breakfast this morning

The egg came from Aldi’s. It did not look any larger though so maybe that is why they did not catch it.
