A collection of random thoughts 2.3.10

1. As a child, I prayed for snow days to come. As an adult, I pray for snow days to go away. Our routine gets all out of whack when school is cancelled or even delayed.

2. I really don’t like having to take a half-day vacation before lunch and then going to work in the afternoon. See #1.

3. Speaking of prayer, I registered the ‘streamingprayer.com’ domain name in conjunction with this post.

4. Lately, Karys has been making a HUGE issue out of going to the potty. As in whining and complaining and arguing when we tell her to go. She wants to do everything else by herself so why the big deal all of a sudden?

5. Since Karys turned 5 on Monday, she now thinks her preschool class is a “baby” class.

6. Am I the only person on the planet who has never been inside an Ikea store?

7. Has anyone seen my other bedroom slipper? It’s been MIA since the weekend.

8. I watched last night’s 2-hour season premiere of LOST this morning. Thank you, ABC, for streaming my favorite television show on your website.

9. My favorite character on my favorite television show is Hurley.

10. My favorite line from my favorite character occurred when Jacob and Hurley were conversing by the van about what to do with Sayid.  Hurley warned Jacob that Jin was on his way, but Jacob seemed unconcerned. “Jin won’t be able to see me.” “Why not?” “Because I died an hour ago.” “Sorry, dude. That sucks.”

#4.  Because she wants to see if she CAN make it a “big deal” with you and Carmi.
#5.  Now that’s funny - but just what I would expect from the little diva!!
#6.  Never.
#7.  With Art’s socks.
#8-9-10.  We LOVE that show!  I’m sorry this is the last season, but it’s been a great ride.  I think you could watch each show repeatedly and still pick up on some little something you missed previously.  I liked Juliette and I’m sorry she’s gone ... or is she????  It’s happened before ... hmmmm ... we’ll see, I guess, as the season progresses.

Sadly, I think Juliette is really dead.

Elizabeth Mitchell, who played Juliette, is on the new tv series called V.

I’ve never been to IKEA.  I want to though.
Do you read Hurley’s blog?  It is pretty interesting.  I haven’t read it in a while.
