We’re sitting in a coffee shop in the Guangzhou airport waiting on food because we’re starving! Been a long time since breakfast.
Our flight out of here is at 8:00 pm (8:00 am EST). If the plane is on schedule, we’ll arrive in Beijing at 11:15 pm and crash at the Sino-Swiss Hotel.
It was a bittersweet day.
On the one hand, we’re certainly ready to get home to some semblance of a normal routine. But on the other hand, this was a very good trip and it’s always hard to say goodbye…not only to our travelmates but to our great guide and friend, Elvin, in Guangzhou.
We will be praying for safe travels and can hardly await your return. It was wonderful to be able to see and talk to you last night but not so wonderful to see myself on your blog. You are in big trouble mister!

That’s OK Doug—Jen & Ron can’t hide behind a long line of question marks! I understand your desire to get home but at the same time not wanting to say goodbye to China and your travel mates. I think you could have a dedicated following of blogsters if you want to keep traveling the world and updating the blogsite! I’m going to miss seeing China too! Prayers are with you all as you fly back to the good old USA.

I just wanted to say that I have been following all along during your trip and also wanted to say what a handsome boy Zane is. 
He looks like he is settling in well.

Wow I am surprised on how fast your trip seemed to go. I am so happy for you all! I actually had tears at some of the pictures of the White Swan! I miss it so much!
God Speed Home. I’ve loved looking at your pictures. It was so cool that Eliana got to talk to her classmates here in the states while she was in China.
